Los geht’s! – Coffee Break German Travel Diaries Episode 1

Welcome to this brand new series from Coffee Break German for intermediate learners. Following in the footsteps of our recent French and Italian Travel Diaries, we’re now heading to Germany for the Coffee Break German Travel Diaries! Join Karin and her family on their road trip through the Alpenstraße with their Wohnmobil (camper van). In each episode of this 10-week series, Coffee Break German hosts, Mark and Andrea will be discussing Karin’s travel diary entries, focusing on the interesting vocabulary and expressions used along the way. Listen to Episode 1 to hear what Karin, her husband Johannes, and their two children, Janina and Alex, get up to on the first day of their long-awaited family holiday. First stop: Schönau am Königssee – los geht’s!

¡Empezamos en San Sebastián! – Coffee Break Spanish Travel Diaries Episode 1

Following on from our French and Italian Travel Diaries released earlier this summer, we’re now heading to the north of Spain to follow the adventures of Victoria and Abel on their luna de miel – their honeymoon. Join Mark and Anabel in Episode 1 of this 10-week series as they discuss Victoria’s first travel diary entry and look at interesting vocabulary and expressions along the way. First stop: the stunning Basque city of Donostia-San Sebastián. ¡Vámonos!

A Coffee Break Conversation with Pierre-Benoît from Coffee Break French

In the first part of the video, watch the interviews without subtitles and try to understand. In the second part of the video, we’ve provided subtitles in German at the top of the screen. You can choose to turn on subtitles in English using the Subtitles/CC button.
