In this week’s lesson, Mark and Alba talk about music. Their discussion includes talk of playing musical instruments and how listening to music is changing because of technology. In the intermedio, José provides a couple of interesting phrases which can be used to say that you find something difficult. Language points covered include comparitives such as tan … como and tanto … como, avoiding the subjunctive and a particular use of verbs which differs from English, based on the phrase from the conversation, espero que no seas tú.

Why is this not posted on my member listing? Every two weeks I burn a CD with 2 lessons + bonus podcasts and I get very frustrated when these are not available by Sunday, as scheduled. It’s annoying to have to keep going in to check when it’s there. Other than this, you all do an AMAZING job and I have learned so much from CBS and STS.

I’m not sure what’s happening. I seemed to be downloading Lesson 22, which took an age, but there’s nothing in the download file.
It says that Lesson 22 was posted on 9th May. Can you please advise whether or not it is there?

Como siempre me gustó mucha este episodio de Show Time Spanish, pero tengo que decir algo. Echo de menos las sugerencias que Alba nos había dado durante los intermedios. Querio descubrir más películas en español o posible música o libros. Este episodia fue un gran oportunidad para hacer algo similar. Podían haber sugerido algunos cantantes.
Yo tengo una sugerencia para todos los oyentes. Manu Chao es un cantante de muchas lenguas y muchas de sus canciones son en español. Les recomiendio el CD Clandestino a ustedes.
