  1. I have been learning Italian and Spanish at the same time. They are similar so it is easier to remember things that are about the same and it makes the language rules easier.

  2. Hi Mark,
I am in New Zealand and loving the Podcasts. I am only up to season 1 episode 8 but love sounding out the words along with Francesca and Katie on my daily commute into work.
My wife and I have been to Italy 3 times and we are selling our place in NZ to downsize bt to also give us the money we want to purchase a place in Pratola Peligna in Abruzzo. Our dream is to be able to do 6 months in Italy and 6 months in NZ until we can get residency.
I will try and get up for the live video cast with Francesca on Thursday 12th 3.30pm your time (2.30am our time) as I am curious how I would say I am from New Zealand in Italian? Also, how do I know if New Zealand is masculine or feminine?
In relation to your latest Coffee catch up, the sound is perfect. Only suggestion would be to have the camera on a stable tripod or something as it was jumping around a bit, but it was nice and clear.
Only other comment is that when I go to the Coffee Break Italian page and scroll down to ‘Join the Conversation’ and click on the ‘Facebook’ link, it takes me to the Coffee Break French site. Just letting you know.
Thanks again for a great podcast series and the web page, awesome effort.
    Trevor

    • Hi Trevor. Thanks for your comments and apologies for the slow reply. We’ve fixed the wrong link on the Italian landing page – apologies for that, and thanks for letting us know. With regard to your question regarding New Zealand, you can say “sono neozelandese”, meaning I’m from New Zealand. Grazie mille!
