Season 2 (Intermediate A2-B1)
Season 2 is aimed at learners who have completed Season 1, or who have a basic grasp of the Spanish fundamentals. Similar to in Season 1, you will follow as teacher Mark guides learner Kara through various topics and grammar points including:

Season 3 (Intermediate B1-B2)
For upper-intermediate Spanish learners, Season 3 follows native speaker Alba and teacher Mark through discussions and a telenovela (serialised soap opera) as they tackle complex verbs, pronouns and the subjunctive through topics such as travel, culture, language learning and current affairs!
How does it work?
Each lesson – or “show” – starts with a first “act” in Spanish featuring the conversation between Alba and Mark.
The team is joined by José for the intermedio – a light-hearted intermission with Spanish tongue-twisters, jokes and lots more.
The second “act” is presented by Mark in which he talks through the interesting vocabulary, the complex grammar and the idiomatic expressions used earlier in the show.

Season 4 (Advanced B2-C1)
An advanced contextual course presented by teacher Mark and native Spanish speaker Carmen, Season 4 is centred around a story involving characters from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world. Advanced learners will further their Spanish with advanced vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and a deepened understanding of complex grammar points.
How does it work?
You will follow the story of Spanish speaker María, her Spanish-speaking Scottish boyfriend, Rory, and his Argentinian friend, Alejandro, through their emails, phone conversations and letters as they spend their summer on the Balearic island of Mallorca.

Your Teacher
¡Hola! I’m Mark, and I’ve been teaching languages for over 25 years now. Learning languages has always been a huge passion of mine (currently at 10 languages and counting!) and I’ve been able to see the amazing benefits that being able to speak a language can bring, from getting to know people in a different way, building your own self confidence and enjoying travel so much more.
I wanted to share these benefits with other people by helping them along their own language-learning journey. However, I could see that it’s not always possible to fit a traditional language class into a busy day and that’s why 16 years ago I started Coffee Break Languages, to give people the opportunity to learn a language where and when it suits them: at the gym, walking the dog, or on their coffee break!
Fast forward to today where we currently deliver over 2 million language lessons a month through Coffee Break and I am so happy to have been able to share the joy of learning a new language and culture with millions of language learners around the world.

What's this about "Coffee Break learning"?
Imagine sitting down with a coffee and reading a text in Spanish, perhaps understanding part of it, recognising certain words, but wanting to know more.
And then being joined by an expert who will guide you through each word, provide additional information about the language used, all in a friendly, enjoyable way.
When you’re ready for your next coffee break, I’ll be your Coffee Break “companion”. It’s my job, as your teacher, to facilitate your learning and help you build a deep understanding of the language, unlike anything you have ever experienced before!

How do I access the course?
The course is hosted on our website, the Coffee Break Academy which can be found at coffeebreakacademy.com.
When you click on the “Buy Now” buttons above, it will take you through to the purchase page of the Coffee Break Academy. After purchasing, you will receive an email which will provide full details on how to access the Coffee Break Academy.
Every course also includes a free tutorial on navigating and using the Academy, and if you have any questions or issues you can click the chat button at the bottom right of the screen at any point.
Which level do I start with?
Season 1 (A1 – A2) is for complete beginners, beginning with A1 level.
Season 2 (A2 – B1) is for those who have completed Season 1 or who already have a basic grasp of the basics of Spanish.
Season 3 (B1 – B2) is for upper-intermediate learners who want to improve their understanding of verbs, pronouns and the subjunctive.
Season 4 (B2 – C1) is for advanced learners who want to learn complex vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and practise complex grammar points.

Do you teach “Spain Spanish” or “Latin American Spanish”?
There are many varieties of Spanish, just as there are different accents and dialects in English. Throughout the Coffee Break Spanish courses we have native speakers from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world, so the Spanish you learn with Coffee Break will be understood wherever you go.
What are the payment options?
We are based in the UK, so our UK customers like to pay in £GBP. We also have customers all over the world and many people like to pay in $USD. We also offer this option. Payment can be made by credit or debit card, Apple and Google Pay. In the US it is also possible to pay using PayPal.
Do the prices include tax?
We are required to charge tax at the local rate wherever taxes are applicable. The prices shown on the checkout page will reflect any local taxes. The £GBP prices we quote on this page include UK VAT. The $USD prices do not include any local taxes which are applicable in certain US states.
