  1. Hi, Mark, it’s really happy to hear that my mother language is being taught in oneminutelanguage series. As a Chinese, I can speak couple of other languages too. And thanks to CBS, i’ve made a circle of friends from Colombia and Venezuela. Just look forward to more episodes of OMM. BTW, the girl’s Chinese is pretty standard, without any accents. Fantastic! Just say thank you to your working group.

Also good to see Frank’s comment from the point of a native speaker!

  3. Just a note of thanks – to Mark and Ling Ling – it’s been 30+ years since I took Mandarin at college – this is great to be able to refresh what I may have lost, and add to what I may never have learned…much appreciated – especially now that I am working more with our associates in China. Their English is way beyond whatever I will be able to re-learn – but being able to speak a few phrases in Mandarin to them really helps break the ice…

  4. Mark-
I’m a big fan of your Spanish lessons. I like the learning interactivity that you and Kara have on that show. For myself, I find the subtle mistakes that Kara makes helps me refine my pronunciation. As the Mandarin show progresses, will you be taking the role of student?
Thank you for putting all of this together.
